About Me

While growing up as a toddler, I nurtured my creative side by building structures with Legos beyond what came in the instruction sheets. It seemed like a means to fuel my imagination and create something new from scratch. As a school kid in Cyber summer camps, I had my first foray into the tech world via Scratch programming to ‘virtually’ build small video games. This ignited my curiosity to understand the rapidly evolving tech world in depth. Over the years, I also developed a keen interest in computer science, especially as I understood its practical application and the critical role it played in varying fields, like history, astronomy, engineering, environment, finance, economy, public policy, sports, and even to an extent in the creative arts like writing, music, movies, and photography. I realized that computer science and its associated technologies would become instrumental in every aspect of our lives in the days ahead.

My scientific curiosity forces me to follow and keep pace with the rapidly evolving field of science and technology. As a busy high schooler, I realized that accessing meaningful information and gaining substantial knowledge about the latest happenings in the STEM field can be a very labor-intensive and frustrating process due to the plethora of information available on the internet—sometimes from sources lacking validation or credibility.

By creating the site Aurea-Ratio, I want to help educate and inform curious individuals and, at the same time, provide them with a platform to publish and share their own ideas on various topics. The target audience for my articles and posts are not only high school students, but anyone who wishes to understand the vast world of STEM. When reading long articles, one can inadvertently get lost in the complicated terms and jargon. Through this platform, I would like readers to understand various subjects from a high schoolers’ perspective and allow anyone to have access to comprehensive information laid out in layman’s terms that is fast and easy to grasp.
